You may upload media to Applied Performance, including:

Coaches may review training videos and provide feedback, including annotations and recorded or written feedback.
Only upload media that you have the right to upload.
Messages and Community Content
We may process communications made through Applied Performance, including:
- Direct messages between coaches and athletes

- Content you choose to share with other users
Information posted in community areas may be visible to other users who have access to that community.
Coach and Business Information
If you use Applied Performance as a coach, we may also process information relating to:

Technical and Usage Information
We and our technology providers may automatically process limited technical information required to operate, secure and improve the platform.

Where a workout is adapted:
- The athlete is informed that the workout has been adapted.
- The athlete may be able to view or revert to the original session.
- Relevant information may be visible to their assigned coach.
- The coach remains responsible for their coaching relationship with the athlete.
Automated adaptations are not medical decisions.

Applied Performance uses artificial intelligence and automated technology to support certain platform features.
AI may be used to assist with functions such as:
- Training adaptations
- Coaching summaries
- Analysis of training information
- Nutrition-related functionality
- Organisation or presentation of coaching information
- Other AI-assisted features clearly identified within the platform
Information submitted to these features may be processed by technology providers used to operate Applied Performance.
Applied Performance is hosted and operated using Base44 infrastructure. Base44 may use subprocessors to provide services including hosting, storage, media hosting, logging and AI functionality.
AI-generated information may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be treated as professional medical advice.
Coaches and athletes should use appropriate judgement when relying on AI-assisted recommendations.
5. Applied Performance Is Not a Medical Service
Applied Performance is a fitness and performance coaching platform.
It is not a medical service.
Applied Performance does not provide:
- Medical advice
- Medical diagnosis
- Medical treatment
- Emergency medical services
Information about readiness, soreness, injuries, nutrition or training feedback is collected to support fitness and exercise programming.
AI-assisted features are not designed to diagnose, treat, prevent or manage medical conditions.
If you have a medical concern, injury or symptoms requiring medical attention, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
6. Coaches and Athlete Information
Athletes using Applied Performance may be linked to an assigned coach.
The assigned coach may have access to information necessary to provide coaching, including:
- Training programs
- Workout results
- Personal bests
- Readiness information
- Nutrition information where used
- Training videos
- Coach review material
- Messages
- Progress information
Coaches are expected to access and use athlete information only for legitimate coaching purposes.
Where an independent coach uses Applied Performance to manage their own clients, that coach may also have their own data protection responsibilities in relation to those clients.
7. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the information and reason for processing it, we may rely on different lawful bases under applicable data protection law.

Applied Performance is currently built and hosted using Base44.

Because these services may operate internationally, personal information may be processed outside the United Kingdom.
